What do I need to wear or bring to the Boot Camp?
Camp will be held rain, shine or snow so dress appropriately and in layers. Bring gloves, a hat, water and a towel or mat to lay on the ground .We recommend that you dress with loose fitting or athletic clothing and wear a good pair of athletic shoes. See below for information for severe weather (lightning, temperature below 20 degrees and significant snow accumulation).
What is considered inclement weather?
Yes, we will be outdoors at temperatures above 20°. Camp will be held indoors only if there are unsafe weather conditions i.e. , snow accumulation, ice or temperature in the teens. To the best of my ability, I will inform you 12 hours in advance via email if camp will be held indoors.
The indoor space is at Morrow Memorial Church, 600 Ridgewood Road in Maplewood. Map
Will the camp start on time?
Camp will always start on time. I understand that people are commuting into the city and pressed for time. Furthermore, I expect everyone to be on time, and campers who are late will be subject to extra pushups, laps, etc.
Will I be sore sometimes?
Most people feel some soreness for the first 2-3 days. After that point, it is slight to moderate. It's part of the process that lets you improve! We will never push you beyond your means or force you to do anything you do not want to do.
What types of people go to camp?
Some are looking to lose weight and others are looking to improve in sports. Whatever their goals, they're just like you, motivated, smart and most of all, result oriented. All levels are welcome from beginners to advanced.
What is a typical day like at camp?
First and foremost you will always have fun! You will work in groups of two or three working on every major body part doing cardiovascular, strength and flexibility exercises. Some of the equipment and exercises will be light running, weight training, resistance bands, obstacle courses, ab/core training, jumping rope, calisthenics, stretches and yoga.
How where do camps meet?
We will meet in Memorial Park between Baker St. and Oakview St. in front of the train station on Dunell Road (map). Parking is available in the library parking lot or on Oakview st. with a permit. The indoor space is at Morrow Memorial Church, 600 Ridgewood Road in Maplewood. How soon will I see results?
Performance improvement can take place in as little as three days. "Visual Improvement" can take from two to four weeks depending on your effort level. It's becoming common to see a camper go down 1-2 sizes within the first camp . Remember, everyone is different!
What will I do after camp is over?
Many (up to 80%) of the campers return for a second, third and even a forth camp. What are the times and locations?

“I just wanted to send you a note to tell you how GREAT I
feel!
I never thought "working out" could be so much fun! It's like going
to gym class.
It's great how everyone in the Boot Camp supports each other and
helps each other to keep going. I took your advice about eating
better
and making better choices with what I eat. I feel amazing!
Thank you so much for making this a wonderful experience."
